Project Wednesday: Superheros

Coming from a family of boys, superheros were an integral part of my childhood. Now that I have young nephews the obession with superheros has not died down.  I don't get to see my family very often and on the last visits I have made two different superhero themed movies with the kids.  In the first movie, my nephews played the superheros and I was the villan.  In the second movie (which I am still editing), I was the director and my brother & sister-in-law were the villans and my nephews and niece pooled their talents to bring down the villans.

Normally, I would show the movies--but they are very silly, with low production value and meant only as amusing pieces for my family.

I do want to share a project that goes along with this and inspired the second movie.  As a belated Christmas gift to two of my nephews I created a comic book for them.  My younger brother wrote the story and one of my very talented students drew the illustrations.

The book was a big hit and I was thrilled with the final outcome.  I am proud to share the Adventures of Rand and Seth.

I think that it is awesome that Jody did the illustration! She is a good kid!
