The Mistakes I Wish I'd Made
Krista Posted on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 6:51AM The past few days I have been enjoying classes at WPPI, a massive trade show for professional photographers. It has been a little overwhelming and inspiring all at the same time.
Last evening I attended a class where the photographer was demonstrating all of the mistakes he has made. It was a humorous class and I appreciated the ease the presenter had with criticizing his work. I normally have a hard time throwing myself into a project or activity in which I am not fully competent because I don't want to be perceived as not knowing what I am doing. There is so much to be learned from having the courage to attempt to do something interesting or innovative.
For today's post I was planning on making a list of all the mistakes I wished I had attempted, but I decided that instead of focusing on what I wish I'd done, I am just going to go out and muster up the courage to attempt something new.
I have wanted to attempt a fashion inspired photo shoot for quite sometime and these past few days have demonstrated that I must.
Anyone interested in modeling?
